About us
We seek unity in faith
.
Unity in the Faith is a central theme according to scripture, emphasizing the importance of harmony and oneness among believers (Ephesians 4:3-6). This concept is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles, who called for the Church to be united in purpose, belief, and love (John 17:20-23). The call for unity among believers is a recurring theme throughout Scripture (John 17:21).
Unity in the Faith is not merely an organizational or structural goal but a spiritual and theological imperative. It reflects the nature of the Triune God, who exists in perfect unity. The Church, as the body of Christ, is called to mirror this divine unity. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Paul explains, "For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also is Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free, and we were all given one Spirit to drink" .
The Narrow Gate
The Church of Christ on Manley Trail in Prescott Valley welcomes you to join us in finding what Jesus calls the "narrow gate" to eternal life. In Matthew 7:13–14, Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate. ...small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." The gate to heaven is “narrow” in the sense of having a particular requirement for entrance—faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found only in the Person of Jesus Christ; He is the only way (John 14:6). Our church is a local congregation of baptized believers, who have come together on the basis of our mutual faith, to worship and serve the Lord in the ways He has appointed for us to do. We invite you to visit with us and, in obedience of heart and life, join with us in our noble work. And enter the narrow gate to everlasting life.
